Degree in Economics

Alexander studied economic sciences at the Leibniz University in Hanover, where he spent three semesters abroad at the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain). He completed his studies in 2004 with a degree in economics. His studies were focused on banking and finance as well as business informatics. Already during his studies, he worked as a chief editor at the leading agency for youth marketing in Germany. His broad network and the desire to pursue entrepreneurial activities prompted him to establish an event agency in 2005. Within two years, this agency became one of the leading exhibition service providers in Germany and managed numerous internationally active companies. He sold his shares after two years and started a career in equity research. In early 2007, Alexander joined SES Research (today: Warburg Research), where he covered different companies from the internet, media and telecommunications sectors. Since July 2009, Alexander is a Management Board member of Montega AG. Alongside the strategic direction of the company, he is mainly responsible for the quality and continuing development of the research product.
